This is an original painting. This one I did for the fun of it. It just popped into my head so I just picked up some paint and brushes and went to it. The people that bought it were very happy and I know they will give it a good home.

Here is a sketch I did last week. It took me about 2 hours to do. I am still thinking of adding color in one place. Her lips. Her lips were fire engine red. I thought that might be fun.

New sketch. Slatsz. He is an 80 year old poet. The drawing is on 80 lb. Strathmore in pencil, size 18 x 24. The drawing took about 20 minutes. Would like to refine it more with more contrast.

Well another year is in the books! On to try some new things, maybe do some traveling and paint some new things this year! I want to work with animals and people too... I want to try my hands at oils... Will see how it goes... I am going to a sketching class this week. I call them mini vacations and exercise for the artist's brain...
